Street Biking Weather Repellent is the all-weather water proof specialist socks for road cyclists.
Comfort
Fabrics Street Biking Weather Repellent socks incorporate a water repellent fabric that blocks water from working in through the fabric but allows sweat from inside to work its way out to the surface. Mixed with this fabric is SKIN NODOR®, a yarn with polymide fiber core and 99.9% pure silver on the outside. As the body heats up, it reacts with the silver to release silver ions, completely harmless to humans but fatal to harmful bacteria, keeping the skin perfectly healthy, on long hours of cycling. Last but not the least is the use of ROBUR™, an impact-absorbing fibre that reduces pressure sores and blisters.
The sock also comes equipped with the convenient self-adjusting cuffs that secure the socks from rolling down.
Air Conditioning
The AirConditioning Channel® is a thinly knit mesh of fabric that runs along the side of the feet through under the arch. With every step, sweat is pushed out of the inner layer and fresh air is let in inside. The Traverse Airflow Channel system circulates air under the feet through the footbed and the Airflow Ankle Pads ensure the same around the ankle joint.
Protection
The Street Biking Weather Repellent socks offer total protection for the feet in Toe Protector, Toe-Tip Protector, Achilles Tendon protector, Heel Protector, and the duckbill shaped. The X-Cross Bandage around the ankle stabilises and protects the ankle joint. The foot bed is also anatomically shaped for left and right feet to provide optimum cushioning.
